Breaking away – Avantasia

Breaking away (Scappare) è la traccia numero cinque del primo album degli Avantasia, The Metal Opera part 1, pubblicato il 22 gennaio del 2001. Gabriel e Lugaid Vandroiy riescono a fuggire dalle prigioni, e Vandroiy conduce Gabriel ad una vecchia miniera, che nasconde un portale tra le due dimensioni, e lo usa per mandare Gabriel ad Avantasia. Breaking Away è preceduta da Malleus Maleficarum. Il Malleus Maleficarum (Il martello delle streghe) è il manuale di caccia alle streghe per antonomasia. Fu redatto nel 1486 dai frati domenicani Jacob Sprenger e Heinrich Institior Kramer, allo scopo di soddisfare l’urgenza di reprimere l’eresia e la stregoneria, espressa da Innocenzo VIII attraverso la bolla Summis desiderantes, del 1484.
