Beyond the last horizon – Ayreon

Beyond the last horizon (Oltre l’ultimo orizzonte) è la traccia numero cinque del secondo album degli Ayreon, Actual Fantasy, pubblicato il 23 ottobre del 1996. Il brano racconta la storia di un Crociato che viene ucciso in un’imboscata. La sua anima poi percorre una strada che porta all’ultimo orizzonte, la morte. Dopo quella strada, il cavaliere crede di trovare il Paradiso, invece non c’è nulla e, una volta attraversata, scomparirà (fonte: arjenlucassen.com).
