Emerald (Smeraldo) è la traccia numero nove del sesto album dei Thin Lizzy, Jailbreak, pubblicato il 26 marzo del 1976. Il brano tratta il tema delle lotte per l’indipendenza irlandese, e lo smeraldo presente nel testo non è altro che una metafora utilizzata per indicare l’Irlanda stessa, rubata dai soldati invasori (gli inglesi) alla popolazione locale (gli irlandesi).
