Kafir! – Nile

Kafir! (Infedele!) è la traccia numero tre del sesto album dei Nile, Those whom the gods detest, pubblicato il 3 novembre del 2009. Il termine “Kafir”, in lingua araba, si riferisce a quelle persone che non credono nell’esistenza e nell’operato di Allah e del suo profeta Maometto. Come preannuncia il titolo, il tema principale del brano è la Jihad, ovvero la guerra santa, perpetrata da gruppi di fondamentalisti islamici quali Al-Qaeda ed il più recente Stato Islamico dell’Iraq e al-Sham (ISIS). Nella parte centrale del brano è presente un tipico canto arabo di stampo religioso.
