The reckoning (don’t tread on me) (La resa dei conti, non calpestarmi) è la traccia numero quattro del settimo album degli Iced Earth, The Glorious Burden, uscito il 12 gennaio del 2004. Don’t tread on me è il motto che compare nella bandiera di Gadsden. Essa contiene un serpente a sonagli su sfondo giallo e la scritta posizionata sotto il rettile. La bandiera prende il suo nome da Christopher Gadsden ed apparve per la prima volta nel 1775 durante la guerra di indipendenza americana.
