Set your controls (Imposta i tuoi comandi) è la traccia che apre, dopo la strumentale Lift off, il disco d’esordio degli Star One, Space Metal, pubblicato il 21 maggio del 2002. Gli Star One sono un gruppo musicale progressive metal olandese, formato nel 2002 per iniziativa del musicista Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Le canzoni contenute in “Space Metal” sono ispirate a film e serie TV di fantascienza differenti, che hanno in comune il fatto di essere tutte ambientate nello spazio aperto. “Set your controls” è ispirata alla serie TV britannica “Doctor Who”.
