Within – At the Gates

Within (All’interno) è la traccia numero quattro dell’album d’esordio degli At the Gates, The Red in the Sky is Ours pubblicato il 27 luglio del 1992. Le parole “Lutis nitra”, verso la fine del testo, rappresentano tecnicamente una formula rituale che ha a che fare con il culto egiziano di Maat (che significa “ordine cosmico”). Esso, come lo stesso termine “Maat” e la maggior parte dei vocaboli egiziani, ha un valore matematico e rappresenta il numero 649, 858 o 143, a seconda dei sistemi di lettura. Questi calcoli possono essere la porta di accesso verso segreti mistici ed arcani.
