Son of the sun – Therion

Son of the sun (Figlio del sole) è la traccia numero due del dodicesimo album registrato in studio dai Therion, Sirius B, pubblicato il 24 marzo del 2004. Il brano parla del faraone Akhenaton passato alla storia come il faraone eretico per il tentativo di sostituire, in conflitto con il potente clero tebano, il dio Amon con un nuovo culto monoteista adoratore del dio Aton. Il brano vede la partecipazione vocale di Anna Maria Krax (soprano) e Ulrika Skarby (contralto).
