Children of the damned – Iron Maiden

Children of the damned (Figli dei dannati) è la traccia numero due del terzo album degli Iron Maiden, The number of the beast pubblicato il 22 marzo del 1982. Children Of The Damned, scritta da Steve Harris, parla di sei bambini, dotati di particolari poteri psichici, che sono costretti a lottare per la loro sopravvivenza contro la razza umana. Il brano si ispira al film omonimo del 1963 (In Italia Il villaggio dei dannati) di Wolf Rilla, a sua volta basato sul libro The Midwich Cuckoos di John Wyndham.
