1066 è la traccia numero otto del ventiquattresimo album dei Saxon, Hell, Fire And Damnation, pubblicato il 19 gennaio del 2024. il 14 ottobre 1066 ha luogo la battaglia di Hastings. I Normanni guidati da Guglielmo il Conquistatore sconfiggono l’esercito anglosassone guidato dal re d’Inghilterra Aroldo II, che muore in battaglia, e l’evento causa la conquista normanna dell’Inghilterra.
